The X3 is a smaller version of BMW’s X5 and first appeared on the market in 2004. In 2007 BMW gave the X3 a makeover under the hood giving it a 3.0 liter inline 6 cylinder engine which puts out 260 hp and 225 lbs of torque. They also gave the car a 6 speed Steptronic transmission.
When it comes to safety the X3 does not fall short with Dynamic Stability Control which aids in stabilizing the vehicle in tough situations, a brake drying feature and Hill Descent Control for help when ground is slippery . In the X3 you will find side and front airbags as well as the BMW Head Protection System which protects the passengers in the front and rear.
